INFORMATION ABOUT MONITOR
A computer monitor is an output electronic device that displays information for it's user. PC monitors mostly look similar to televisions. The key difference between a TV and a monitor is that a PC monitor doesn't have a TV tuner to change channels. PC monitors mostly have higher display resolution than TV. A high display resolution makes this gadget simpler to see fine graphics and smaller letters. There are three types of computer monitors: LCD monitor, LED monitor and CRT monitor. Older monitor is CRT (cathode ray tube). These are huge and heavy and use a lot of work area space and power. It is the oldest technology. Basically cathode ray tube technology (CRT) was developed for television. The display device in modern monitors is regularly a TFT-LCD (thin film transistor liquid crystal display). The most usual type of flat panel display. It's a newer innovation after CRT. LCD (liquid crystal display) monitors use much less work area space, are lighter than CRT (cathode ray tube) and use less power than CRT (cathode ray tube). They have been used for long time in the screens of notebook PC and laptop. They also work as touch screens in cell phones, tablet PC, and other handheld technologies. Third is an LED (Light Emitting Diode) Monitor. LED (Light Emitting Diode) display is an LCD Monitor that utilizes light emitting diodes for back lighting. The very first LCD Monitors utilized CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) instead of LEDs to enlighten the screen. You can connect monitors to the PC via Digital Visual Interface (DVI), VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS), Thunderbolt, or other restrictive connectors and signals.
